For the first time in the city of Chicago, The Verdon Fosse Legacy® Intensive Training Program comes to the Midwest for an exceptional two-week immersion. Led by Tony-nominated Legacy Reconstructeur Jane Lanier (1986 Sweet Charity, FOSSE) and featuring Christine Colby Jacques (original Broadway Cast of DANCIN', 1986 Sweet Charity, FOSSE, and reproduction of Mr. Fosse's Chorography for the 2023 Broadway revival of DANCIN'), this program offers intermediate, pre-professional, and professional dancers ages 16 and up an unparalleled opportunity to train in the Fosse® methodology.

Immerse yourself in a rigorous dance training experience that sharpens your artistry across multiple disciplines. Each morning begins with technique classes that strengthen your foundation in Ballet, Classical Indian, Afro-Caribbean, Flamenco, Rhythm, Acting Exercises, and Fosse® Jazz - which introduces students to the signature steps and vocabulary of his unique style. Afternoons shift to intensive study of Fosse® choreography, where you'll work in a supportive yet demanding environment that expands your capabilities.

This two-week intensive develops the core techniques that shaped Bob Fosse® and Gwen Verdon's artistry. Beyond mastering their distinctive vocabulary, you'll explore the influences that defined their work—from Jack Cole's precision to Fred Astaire's elegance—gaining insight into how these elements evolved into one of the most recognizable styles in dance history.
