(Intermediate, Pre-Professional & Professional Dancers 16+)

The Verdon Fosse Legacy® Intensive Training Program (ITP) uses the choreography and methodology of Bob Fosse® and Gwen Verdon to instill nuance, subtlety, meaning, and depth of character while strengthening each dancer’s technical proficiency.

Rooted in Fosse® repertoire and methodology, the Intensive Training Program uses Bob Fosse® and Gwen Verdon’s training principles as the foundation for every area of study.. While the program explores a broad range of theatrical dance repertoire and technical disciplines, each area of study is connected back to the training principles that shaped the work of Bob Fosse® and Gwen Verdon. Their approach was rooted not only in choreography, but in the underlying cultural, musical, and movement traditions that informed it.

Through training in these foundational influences alongside Fosse® repertoire, dancers develop a deeper understanding of the movement, its origins, and the technical and artistic principles behind it.

The ITP is offered in 2-week, 4-week, and multi-week/multi-city formats. It may be taken as a stand-alone theatrical dance intensive or as preparation for future application to our New York City-based Professional Training Program.
