Bob Fosse bestowed British Academy of Film and Television Arts Best Director Award Cabaret, 1972

This particular British Film Academy Award is also known as the "Stella Award" and was bestowed to winners from 1968 to 1975. Being a Wedgwood commissioned Black Basalt figurative statue presented during the BAFTA awards ceremony and specially designed by Wedgwood sculptor Eric Owen. The freestanding trophy or whole figure measures nine inches in height and has five lines of gold lettering front of circular pedestal base reading:

"The Society of FIlm and Television Arts, 1972 Film Award, The Best Director, CABARET, Bob Fosse"
